Research Program Manager based in our Windsor, CT office

Description
In this role you will manage the daily operations of multiple big data initiatives that help our members make data-driven decisions. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for internal and external clients, updating data visualizations with new enhancements, and giving presentations to internal and external clients. In addition, you will communicate and coordinate efforts between team members across multiple divisions, including IT, data analysis, and research.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, or related field.
  • One to three years of relevant research or data analysis experience.
  • Three to five years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience with the preparation of research findings from analysis through reporting.
  • Familiarity or experience with key data concepts and best practices (e.g. data management/strategy and data visualization)
  • Ability to prioritize own work and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.

 

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in math, statistics or related field
  • Tableau, VBA, or SQL skills
  • Proficient in one or more data analysis applications (such as SAS, SPSS, R)
  • Insurance or Financial Services industry experience
