A detail-oriented, results-driven Associate Software Developer, eager to learn and with a strong desire to grow their software development skills. Successful candidates will have basic knowledge of Object Oriented Design Methodologies, basic software development skills including but not limited to, familiarity with C# .NET, JavaScript, Web Development, MS SQL Server, SOA, and the ability to focus on commitments in an agile development environment.

Candidates must have a willingness to understand existing processes and systems, possess strong interpersonal, and communication skills. They should be able to consult with senior team members & subject matter experts, be able to build relationships, be innovative thinkers, actively participate in scrum teams, be a team player, and understand the various business units within LL Global. Most of all, the candidates need to demonstrate exceptional customer orientation and customer focus.

Responsibilities of the position include

• Work with experienced developers to align with and understand overall technical vision for projects, programs, or systems.
• Gain understanding about cross-functional impacts, integrations across the organization and architecture rationalization.
• Learn & execute on how technical issues and risks are identified, then actively mitigated and resolved.
• Work closely with business & IT stakeholders, Senior Developers, and Architects to design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs consistent with the architectural vision.
• Provide development, testing support, follow implementation of standards, and best practices in alignment with our architecture patterns.
• Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership in the operational application support areas.
• Good analytical skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Ensure quality of solution delivery.
• Ensure all new/updated products follow the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process, including:
  • Automated builds
  • Test harness
  • Solution deployment
• Properly document software solutions.
• Actively learn on projects about the business unit’s purpose, and how they deliver value. to the overall enterprise.
• Develop good analytical skills to understand root cause of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0 – 3 years experience programming / systems analysis and industry specific business expertise.
• 0 – 3 years experience developing C# .Net applications.
• 0 – 3 years experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and methodologies.
