We are currently accepting applications for an Interactive Media Specialist based in our Windsor, CT office reporting to the Multimedia Manager 

Purpose:

  • Enhance the LIMRA and LOMA brands by creating innovative & interactive multimedia experiences, such as (videos, interactive infographics, gamification & augmented reality) .

  • Create interactive experiences at LIMRA & LIMRA LOMA partner conferences through AV production.

  • Architect & manage a digital asset management system.

  • Process improvement agent, Design and implementing, more efficient and innovative workflows in order better collaborate with Marketing and LL Global at large.

    Essential Functions:

     

  • Team architect who transforms the internal and/or external customer’s vision into a multimedia experience.

  • Enhance storytelling through digital or physical experiences.

  • Responsibilities range from UX design, video production, AV production, photography and graphic design.

  • Research and advise the marketing department on digital media tools, trends, techniques and talent.
  • Mentor and council multimedia support staff on tools, techniques and workflows.
  • Responsible for shaping and leading solutions to data visualization in an increasingly complex and changing technological environment.

  • Manage multimedia content quality control, this included reviewing all final Multimedia output

  • Digital asset management – Architect and manage a database and archive for all Multimedia content.

  • Design and manage an automated micro-content pipeline.
     

    Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in one of related fields, (Multimedia, Communications, Design, Computer Science)  
  • Skills/Knowledge
    • Experience with the Adobe creative tools, motion or 3D software, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, version control
    • Skilled with Digital Cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Digital Cinema)
    • Fundamentals of photography (lighting, composition, exposure)
    • Knowledge of multimedia production tools and methodology, and a strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software and hardware

    • Strong knowledge in data driven design
    • Strong skills in typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory

    • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work and interface with members, clients, coworkers, management, and executives

    • Complex problem solver

    • Strong interest in continuous learning, information design, and technology (mobile and web)

    • A passion for marketing and branding

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and people simultaneously
    • Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision

    • Travel:
      • Position requires up to 15% of job time, traveling within the US and Canada
    •  

      DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Motion visuals, storytelling, 3D animation, design for video output

    • Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes for use in design review and user testing

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    •  

       

      ADA Requirements:

      Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
