Accounting Manager Summary
Description LIMRA and LOMA, the world’s largest international research and education association for the life insurance, retirement and financial services industry, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager in the Finance Division. We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for leading a team of Accounting professionals. This is a newly-created position who will report to the Chief Accounting Officer. This role can be located in either Atlanta, GA or Windsor, CT with a hybrid ‘Work for Your Day’ work arrangement. POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager is responsible for assisting the Chief Accounting Officer in the daily operations and supervision of staff; the development and monitoring of the monthly financial results compared to the corporate budget; providing financial information/financial reporting and support to business unit managers; and assisting with external audits. Leadership is essential to this position and the successful candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of proven leadership experience managing multiple Accounting professionals including a minimum of 10 years Accounting experience.
