We are currently looking for a
Senior Research Analyst for LIMRA's Retirement research department located in our Windsor, CT office.

This senior research analyst position offers unique and valuable experience in a world-class market research organization. This individual will be given the opportunity for hands-on knowledge of the retirement & annuity industry, learning by interfacing with LIMRA colleagues, member company staff, and managing sales, asset and benchmarking data. Special project work on additional retirement plans related projects is possible as time allows. This position offers plenty of room for growth in a dynamic and changing industry.


Duties include:

  • Manage annuity benchmarking sales surveys
  • Respond to information and reporting requests for information from clients and LIMRA staff
  • Responsible for annuity research reporting and maintaining data on relevant industry developments
  • Review, modify and recommend business requirements for annuity research databases and systems applications
  • Attend limited number of client meetings and industry conferences
  • Support timely completion of research projects
  • Identify research/service opportunities, reporting process improvements and improve surveys/services as needed

Qualifications:

  • A college degree and 3-5 years of annuity experience required
  • Requires very good knowledge of the individual annuity industry, including products and distribution
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to understand and synthesize data and their implications
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, and attention to details
  • Self starter with ability to work independently and on a team basis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge or experience with market research and analysis techniques a plus
  • Familiarity with survey software or database analysis software is also a plus

Travel:
Position requires approximately 5% of job time, traveling within the US
