Essential Functions
As a Sr. Marketing Specialist, you'll be responsible for optimizing learner engagement and generating referrals for our Professional Development products within our client companies to make the most of their professional development opportunities. 

The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven marketer with experience in integrated marketing across channels. This position requires a professional who will work closely with cross-functional teams including product and sales to align marketing efforts and deliver measurable results.

Campaign Strategy & Execution Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans that include clear objectives, tactics, timelines, and KPIs for B2B member engagement and B2B2C learner engagement
  • Responsible for creating content across various digital mediums and sales enablement content, such as sales presentations, case studies, emails, social posts, infographics, value statements, video scripts, etc.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage Learning & Development and Education Representatives in driving learner engagement
  • Develop and execute joint campaigns with members to drive learner engagement, ensuring alignment on campaign goals, messaging, and performance metrics
  • Provide member relations & sales with sales enablement needed to engage members and drive business development
  • Use data and analytics to monitor campaign performance and generate insights that optimize strategy across B2B and B2B2C channels
  • As needed, develop and execute B2B2C marketing strategies in support of other products/member benefits as needed
  • Track KPIs related to campaign effectiveness providing regular reports to leadership
  • Continuously improve the learner experience and marketing ROI through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization tactic

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. (MBA preferred)
  • 5-8 years of marketing experience, preferably in a business-to-business-to-consumer environment
  • Experience with building and executing product marketing strategies
  • Insurance or financial services experience a plus
  • Demonstrated creativity and proven track record of independently developing innovative and creative marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in product positioning, understanding the competitive landscape, marketing plan development messaging strategy and story telling
  • Knowledge of business-to-business-to-consumer marketing concepts and techniques
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills with attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to listen and influence others throughout the organization
  • Ability to make decisions, function and act independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellence in collaboration and leading project teams.
  • Must have strong analytical skills to effectively assess and communicate metrics
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office — PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Experience with digital marketing and email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Exact Target, Constant Contact, Real Magnet, INFORMZ)
  • Must be able to work effectively across functional groups and with business partners
  • Must possess a positive, can-do attitude with an ability to identify options when problems occur
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines and ongoing time demands
  • Open and responsive to constructive feedback
  • Strong time and project management skills as well as excellent organization skills and attention to detail
