The Opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Software Developer for our Application Development team, to support technology products within LL Global, Inc.  Successful candidates will have strong knowledge of and experience with Object Oriented Design Methodologies, software development skills including but not limited to, familiarity with C# .NET, JavaScript, Web Development, MS SQL Server, SOA, and the ability to focus on commitments in an agile development environment.

 

Candidates must have a willingness to understand existing processes and systems, possess strong interpersonal, and communication skills. They should be able to consult with other team members & subject matter experts, be able to build relationships, be innovative thinkers, actively participate in scrum teams, be a team player, and understand the various business units within LL Global. Most of all, the candidates need to demonstrate exceptional customer orientation and customer focus.

 

What You’ll Do:

•          Work with enterprise architects, security, infrastructure, data, and application teams to ensure technical solution designs and implementations are consistent with our standards and Vision.
•          Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project schedule and/or budget.
•          Provide development and testing support, and follow implementation of standards and best practices in alignment with our architecture patterns.
•          Actively participate in code review sessions to ensure team members are adhering to standards.
• Ensure quality of solution delivery
• Ensure all new/updated products follow the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process, including:

o          Automated builds

o          Test harness

o          Solution deployment
 

• Properly document software solutions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical or process debt in specified applications or their support.

 

What You Bring:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of programming / systems analysis expertise working with Business stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience developing C# .NET applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 3+ years of strong experience with engineering tools (Git, DevOps, VSCode etc.), and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Demonstrate advanced business and technical acumen for applications.
• Demonstrate skills in shaping and leading development of technical specifications.
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within established timelines.
• Strong relationship and consensus building skills, within the team and with business units.
• Exceptional Communication skills - written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented.
