The Senior Graphic Designer position is a full-time position, not a contract job, with a full benefits package that starts on day one.

 

Locations are either Atlanta, GA or Windsor, CT where we offer a super flexible Work for Your Day HYBRID schedule or fulltime remote.

 

The Opportunity:

You will work with business and marketing managers to understand marketing goals then conceptualize, define, develop, and implement creative designs to meet objectives. You may work with others to develop concepts for corporate marketing materials. You’ll also be responsible for producing a variety of complex digital documents including creating the initial design of projects. In addition, you’ll develop, coordinate, and negotiate timelines and schedules to complete projects. The Senior Designer oversees projects from initial mock-up to final delivery. This position reports to the Creative Services Manager.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Produce a dynamic and engaging range of marketing assets, including advertising, emails, sales presentations, banners, data visualization, social media, and more.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and easy to understand.
  • Design and reformat various types of forms and templates.
  • Implement quality assurance measures and procedures to reduce errors.
  • Work in a branded environment and build on name recognition and brand equity of LIMRA and LOMA.
  • Manage deadlines to ensure timely project completion. Reconcile multiple priorities and deadlines when necessary.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8-10 years of digital design experience including responsive/mobile first design, the creation of infographics, charts and graphs and other marketing materials.
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field from an accredited institution.

 

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • Ability to follow precise layouts and templates.
  • Strong mastery of Adobe products on the Windows platform, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent digital file structure and asset management skills to keep work organized. Able to follow established studio process.
  • Ability to articulate ideas in verbal and written format. Flexible and open to feedback. Excellent eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong capability to work efficiently and independently to maintain high quality in a high-volume department while meeting client deadlines. Must have a high degree of professional responsibility and timeliness with deadlines.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C graphic design.
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative but works well in a group environment.
  • HTML/CSS a plus, but not required.

*** As part of the selection process we will require an Online Portfolio to include 12 work samples. Portfolio must show a wide range of creative projects, versatility, attention to detail and an ability to display your unique creative style. Focus on user experience, visual storytelling and grasp of typography.
