We are seeking a strategic and collaborative individual contributor to help engage a new target market—advisors and consumers—by driving awareness, demand, and adoption of industry solutions. This newly designed role is ideal for someone who challenges the status quo, brings fresh perspectives, and is passionate about delivering meaningful value to audiences who need what LIMRA and LOMA have to offer.

This position will support the integration of the Alliance for Lifetime Income into LIMRA and LOMA’s business and contribute to the development of programming and products that serve defined markets, enhance member value, and fuel association growth.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Advisor & Consumer Strategy, the Senior Specialist plays a critical role in shaping and executing strategies that engage financial professionals and consumers. This cross-functional role bridges marketing, research, program development, and product innovation to ensure initiatives resonate with target audiences, drive measurable impact, grow revenue, and strengthen brand positioning.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of integrated strategies, programs, and tools to engage financial professionals and consumer audiences.
  • Evaluate advisor and consumer research and content to inform segmentation strategies and create tailored experiences that drive engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Industry Solutions and Professional Development teams to develop solutions for financial professionals, including business cases, impact measurement, and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with the Convening team to design and execute national events targeting financial professionals.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities and partnerships aligned with LIMRA and LOMA’s mission and strategic objectives.
  • Manage content gating strategies to optimize revenue generation and track performance.
  • Provide support to advisor and consumer sub-committees, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and member needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in strategy, marketing, consumer insights, or financial services.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience collaborating with sales teams and supporting programs that drive awareness and sales.
  • Agile and responsive to changing market and organizational needs; able to pivot strategies pragmatically.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Expertise in B2B and B2C segmentation.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel and Tableau.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
